Building Services is responsible for providing custodial services spanning over 9 million gsf. This area is comprised of academic and administrative buildings, in addition to all of Notre Dame's residence halls, athletic buildings and the Morris Inn and Notre Dame Conference Center. Building management for the Coleman-Morse Center and DeBartolo Hall is also a function of this department.
The Office of Emergency Management coordinates the University's emergency programs.

Finance and Administration encompasses the operation of the Campus Work Control Center, the finance and information technology functions for the Campus Services Division and management of the University's Land O' Lakes facility.

The University of Notre Dame Fire Department (NDFD) is dedicated to the preservation of life and property and to the promotion of fire safety through public education, inspections, and fire protection system maintenance.
Risk Management & Safety
The Risk Management & Safety Department is dedicated to providing quality service and professional advice in the areas of safety, occupational health, environmental protection and risk management.
Sustainability & Logistics
Sustainability aims to reduce the University’s carbon and other energy related emissions, help campus members to conserve resources, and increase awareness of sustainable practices with a focus on Catholic social teaching’s connection to sustainability. Logistics includes Warehouse, Delivery and Transportation and serves as a hub for campus consisting of the following units: Central Receiving, General Services, Mail Distribution, Recycling, Surplus Property, and Transportation Services.
